Anyone can say they know general truth...and who can say that their cheerios are not as real as my count chocula ceral. But that is not truth...it is simply facts based on observation.
Truth in theory comes in two determinable and testable f...orms. Relative truth. And its Big brother Absolute Truth.
Relative truth is observational facts verified by patterns or behaviors of the truth in action, that are repetatively observable in the present ( or usually in the the now). Relative truths, if they exist are almost always terrestrial, and loosely scientific at best.
Absolute truth should therefore be data ( not facts) that is not verifiable in terms of time but rather makes itself apparent in the past present or future by natural occurances that are observed by observers who may never meet each other. Absolute truths if they exist, should be cosmically observable , and unwaveringly scientific.
Problem is, no system of observation isso refined as to prove either.
In fact, it seems to me that the only probable observations are those that are Untrue, Proven Untrue, or the dastardly step brother Lies.
